To understand the “mind” is to use wisdom to illuminate the ignorant heart, or the enlightened wisdom heart, so as to dissolve the troubles of the world. To see “nature” is to see the habits of past lives, such as greed, hatred, competition, comparison, attachment, fear, and ignorance. These are not the essence of the soul, but have gradually become some bad habits and habitual thinking through continuous exposure to the environment.
